I think the black light lightbulbs were just celebrating their achievement of making their 1,567,999 Grateful Dead posted look "glow in the dark." They typically don't dance...so the artist commemorated the moment. I am not sure if they would be flattered or deeply offended to have been mistaken for humans. Looking back and forth at the images shows the polar extremes of existence and leaves us much to think about, I agree. Viva la Theatre.
