Deus Ex was probably the second best game ever made. The terrible voice acting, mishmash of conspiracy theories and technical bugs are trivial. I picked this game up at a Sam’s Club the week it was released because the box looked cool, and it is the best game purchase I have ever made. This is just one of the slew of games I never finished. Arcanum, AvP2, FEAR, Neverwinter Nights 2, hardly even started Baulder’s Gate 2, never beat the end boss to Return to Castle Wolfenstein or Half-Life…still need to finish Bioshock. *sigh*
I have had this game for quite a while. I love it but I just haven’t got all the way though the thing. Oh, well every time i go back to it i start at the beginning and its still great.
Honestly the beginning is one of the weaker parts. Even so it is better than anything that has been released recently. It’s just a shame that the sequel turned out to be so incredibly dumbed down. Ah well perhaps they have learned their lesson for the third game, which has been announced and is supposedly in development.
I doubt that they’ve learned their lesson - I imagine it’s even more dumbed down, and being developed for X-Box 360.
